ESWC 2011 world champion Erik "hakkiJunior" Leštach had an exciting weekend recently. The Slovakian TrackMania Nations Forever superstar - playing for eSuba and recently getting sponsored by Red Bull becoming the first Red Bull sponsored gamer in Europe - was at the Red Bull Gridster event at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this past weekend to represent his sponsor. Two other drivers who were also present at the event (and who are also sponsored by Red Bull) were the Formula 1 two times world champion Sebastian Vettel and fellow Red Bull team-mate Mark Webber. Being under the same type of contract, the three drivers were able to meet up in person.
Later on hakkiJunior then got to play against the two Formula 1 drivers in Gran Turismo 5 Time Attack show-matches played on the infamous Nürburgring circuit. He managed to win over both drivers in solid fashion beating Vettel with around forty hundreds and completely dominating Webber being several seconds faster than the Australian racer.

Videos from the event were also made from the two meetings:

ManiaActu briefly spoke with "hjr" on how it was like to meet and play against the two racing rockets:
ManiaActu: Hey hakkiJunior, you got to meet Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber, how was that?
hakkiJunior: To be truthful, that was really amazing. I had never thought I might one day play against somebody like them.
ManiaActu: You played against them in Gran Turismo 5, how did it go?
hakkiJunior: It went pretty well. I hadnt had enough time to prepare, I got like half an hour before the match against Vettel to get to know the track and the feeling of the steering-wheel.
ManiaActu: Anything else you want to add?
hakkiJunior: On Friday I became a member of one big family by becoming a Red Bull Athlete. It feels like nothing else I have experienced before. During the Festival of Speed I had a chance to meet many interesting people like Peter Pilat, Viki Gomez and many others. I wish more people could share it with me.
