Tuesday 26.8 we had the fourth and last group stage day of Giant Cup 12. There were more players joining in than thought so the match was again played on three servers, just like round 1 was. Once again, here's a quick look to what happened on servers.

Server 1

Here we had an interesting battle between old GC champion Lolomax and another experienced player Yannovsky. They were really close to each other in points all the time, and after all maps it was finally Lolomax winning the server with 1217 points, leaving Yannovsky with 1207 second even though he got 40 points more on last map which was island. Third place went to Passi with 958 points, and Dengel was fourth with 912 behind him. Aurel had problems with his connection, and even though he was sixth after 2 maps he ended up just 13th. Interesting fights were seen on several maps and the pack behind top 4 was really tight as spedzo, Lanz, Furax, wormi and Panoramix switched places depending on environments. For example spedzo was decent on island with 151 points (only Yann and Lolo in front), while wormi took 172 points on stadium, where only Passi did better.

Server 2

On the second server the top was more clear: Marius 89 took 1349 points after getting most points on all environments except island, where Tona dominated the map with 236 points . Tona took second with 1189 points. With 967 points Elco took third, and Sky claimed the fourth place. The top 4 stayed similar since third map, which was rally. Lagba got fifth, JaketheCake sixth and Forgot10 seventh just a couple of points behind JtC, thanks to his good comeback on island once again. Noni, who was overall 9th, did very well on rally, but his worse performances on some other envis like snow and coast costed him places. Ervin arrived late and drove only less than two full maps.

Server 3

This server, however, was really tight. After first maps, pranksta was in lead, but after all it was Zepset who won the server with 1196 points, when he dominated pranksta on stadium. Second place went to Red Shreder with 1097 points, and also stadium and coast performances of DanikB allowed him took third with just 5 points behind Red. Pranksta with 1071 points ended up 4th after many close rounds with other top 4 players. Zippy took fifth hundred points behind others. Minuit, who scored nice 141 points on snow, stopped after 5 maps played, but his good points from first and third weeks allow him continue to playoffs easily. Overall the server was probably the tightest one, and with some environments specialists in it. The results changed a lot between the maps.

Finally, here are the top 48 that will qualify to semifinal phase, that will be played on four servers, 12 players on each.
