The first round of Formula ET's 8th season was driven Sunday 27.10. This year the teams will compete on 3 servers, about 10 on each, as there are 31 teams registered.

Mappack

Coast: Smile by wormi
Rally: Mosaic by Kiwininja
Stadium: Spéculos by Titi

Results

Server 1

On coast the server 1 had a clear top 2: mimich (LAW) as the winner and Sandder (UH) as second just four seconds behind. Elco (rev) was third, finishing just before Xaorn (CC). Mimich also set the best time here, with 58.99. Titi (rev) secured a good result to his team with his 5th place.

Mimich continued his streak on rally, but now it was a lot harder. MGM (Dunno2) gave him a real challenge and finished only about 0.3 seconds behind mimich gaining the second slot. Mimich's team mate Garfield was fourth just one second behind Oxyde (CC who gained the third slot. Sandder was driving with keyboard and finished 9th, but he will get a joystick soon.

Stadium was a real show by Sandder. He drove with an average lap time of 49.5 and won the race with massive 30 seconds before B1ts (Dunno2), who beated the third finisher Jabuz (SAAB) with 5 seconds. Sandder's best lap was 48.54, which is faster time than anyone has driven on the map.

Server 2

Lukas (BBoD) managed to win the coast map finishing some seconds before Zooz (URMOM). However, the best lap 59.38 was driven by Seven Up (NB) who was third, a couple of seconds in front of Lukas's teammate JaketheCake. Between places 5-7 the race was really tight, as three drivers Cibermix (37), his teammate Lolomax and Darkhawk (URMOM) finished in less than 3 seconds.

Rally was full dominated by Lolomax (37). Another multiple Giant Cup champion Zooz (URMOM) was second and the coast winner Lukas finished as third. The fourth player, Emixx (NB) was already a minute behind Lolomax, but after him the differences between players were smaller: for example Rude (Grr) was only half a second behind Emixx.

Zooz was the number one on stadium. JaketheCake claimed the second place, losing to Zooz with 10 seconds. Seven Up was third a little before Cibermix who was fourth. Behind the top the race was quite tight, but overall the times were slower than in the other servers.

Server 3 - VOD

The coast was really exciting race. On the first lap we saw such a surprise when wormi (pls) was in the lead on his own map till the last corner, where Marius 89 (dunno) overtook him. A couple of other players overtook him soon also. Cl_ment (tarD-re) drove the fastest lap of the race with 58.96 quite early and had the second place for long, until he lost his regu and finished 4th behind Marius, Yannovsky (Ghost) and Tibo (Dunno) who lost his 2nd place to Yannovsky at the very last corner.

On rally it was team Ghost with Yannovsky and Red Shreder who dominated the track. Behind those two we had both Dunno players, Marius 89 and pranksta. Lolita (pls) crashed twice during the first lap and was +15 seconds to leader, but started a massive comeback and finally ended up as 5th, just one corner behind pranksta. The race behind was also really tight, and drivers on places 6-9 come to finish quite close to each other.

There were a lot good stadium players on server 3, which made stadium actually a lot tighter than it usually is in TMU comepetitions: The time to get 10th on this server would have been around places 5-7 on the other servers. After first lap fight with Sepe27 (pls) Marius 89 dominated the map, having Harley Quinn (MCM) who is better known as RKO90 behind him and Passi (tarD-re) as third. Sepe's crashes costed a lot and also L94 (zero) with Red Shreder and Zepset (Ghost) overtook him.

Not sure if it's senseful to do the résumé like this. I mean nice to know how the placement on each server was, but that's not important for the league.

Server1 players also play vs Server 2 and 3 players because your time counts and there will be made an overall ranking regarding the times. Unfortunately, you leave no single word about the overall winners of each track.

Because this is what counts in the end. ^^
Who won Rally, Coast or Stadium. The 4th place on Server2 on Rally is not very intersting because it's maybe just close in the top30 overall, while it's more intersting who won Rally overall. Btw, didn't know that was you on Coast? Nice! But I miss some words about my distance to others to be honest.

Anyway nice recap, but maybe think of some of my ideas for improvement and also take a look at the overall standing and leave some words about the fights for top1 or top12, as top12 reach final. ;)

The global matchlogs were not published yet, so it was harder to write a news of that kind. Even if I agree with you that it would be better for the next time.
But an overall sight of what happened on each server can help to see if it was harder or not to be in the first places, or if there were some interesting fights.

I just published the detailed matchlogs in the comments of the last FET8 news if it helps.

Not so long ago, I was in the first places of rally, damned. ^^
And nice job. =)

I didn't know that it's the time that counts instead of points gained on a server, as we get points from servers, but indeed after looking the results it seems like it's the time. This server at once -style is maybe clear for a spectator as that's how they see the race though.

But yeah, as Arkone said I am unable to write anything without data. If I get the data of total times earlier, it will work to use that way. Currently I was able to use matchlogs of each server for sure, but combining them by myself is a hard work.

I will ofc make the news more clear if I can get the data early enough = before wednesday evening. Ofc I can be a week late with newsing but that's not cool anymore.

About the server I play on i could write a whole book, but I tried keep it as short as others so I didn't mention your difference to avoid too long text :) The VOD tells it quite well tho.

I won't edit this piece of news but next time I will wait the logs. The faster the better, as imo already a 3 days old race is a bit weird to write news. If ET Dreamteam can help with quick logs it's easy to make fast :) It takes a lot time to calculate all by myself.
