ESL is planning to hold a a Summer Special League that would be played in TrackMania² Stadium.

The only rules that has been released so far is that it will be played in 1vs1 using Cup Mode (without Finalist). 16 players will be able to start, and they will be placed into groups of 4. Then in the playoffs, top 8 will qualify and play using the same system.

ESL are also writing that they will try using their own ESL Cup Mode for the playoffs and perhaps for the group-stage as well.

As for maps, ESL has decided to use the mappacks of CPS 11 that recently ended. Of course that one was a TMNF tournament, so this means the maps will now be used in TrackMania² Stadium instead.

There will also be prizes which includes gamepads, headsets and mousepads. You can find all prizes in the official announcement.

Sign-up has already started, and the deadline has been put to August 4th 20:00 CEST. Take note that you need ESL Premium to be able to participate in this tournament.
